Typical turnaround is 2–4 weeks depending on majlis size and fabric availability. A single-wall run may be completed in 2 weeks. A full U-shaped majlis with bolsters and corner units usually takes 3–4 weeks.

Yes. Every majlis we build or restore is measured to your specific wall run. Corner units are custom-angled (not standard bolted-on corners). We also handle window recesses, column-avoiding runs, and irregular room shapes.

Majlis reupholstery restores your existing frame and structure, replacing only the foam, fabric, and any worn detailing. This is 60–80% cheaper than a new build and preserves the original proportions. Yes. Traditional floor-level majlis sits low with continuous cushion runs along the walls. Modern sofa-height majlis raises the seating to 40–45cm for easier movement. Hybrid layouts combine both. We restore and build all three configurations, sized to your exact wall run.

Yes. We replace or restuff mutakkah bolsters to match your majlis height and profile. Bolsters are built with firm filling and covered in the same fabric as the seating (or a coordinating contrast fabric). Traditional bolster detailing like tassels and gold trim can be preserved or replaced.

For daily family use, we recommend performance fabrics with a 30,000+ Martindale rub count. These are solution-dyed, stain-resistant, and hold colour through Dubai’s climate. For a formal majlis with lighter use, performance velvet or jacquard offers the traditional richness with better durability than standard velvet.

Majlis seating is quoted by linear metre. We measure the full wall run from corner to corner, then subtract 40cm at each end for door and corner clearance. Corner units are quoted separately. Yes. We regularly restore inherited, antique, and designer sofas. We take extra care with original detailing — button tufting, nailhead trim, carved wood features, and any original hardware — preserving them wherever possible.

Yes. We provide a 1-year craftsmanship guarantee on all upholstery work and a 2-year structural warranty on frame repairs. If a seam opens, a zip fails, or a joint loosens within the warranty period, we fix it free of charge.

Our standard price includes: full strip-down to the frame, structural inspection and joint tightening, high-density HR foam replacement, new fabric cut and hand-fitted, piping and trim, and free pickup and delivery across Dubai. Frame repairs beyond standard tightening are quoted separately after inspection.

We can do either. Full reupholstery covers the entire sofa — frame, cushions, arms, and back. Partial reupholstery (just the cushions or just the seat) is possible if the rest of the fabric is in good condition, but matching new and old fabric perfectly is difficult since older fabric fades and shifts.
